The Last Transmissions to the First Song Siphon

The transmissions recently received by the Lovelace-Fort device suggest that Captain Charles Fort may have survived his mission to the Sargasso Sector. A close study of all ten recordings made by the original song siphon provides a wealth of new historical data, catalogued here for the first time. This data may shed light on the circumstances of Captain Fort’s apparent death and the nature of his professional and personal relationships with Dr. Lovelace.

Download includes 10 audio files and a 15 page PDF with the full text of the paper by University of Western Minnesota forensic musicologist Rebecca O. Veach describing the outrageous adventures of Captain Fort and the ingenious Dr. Lovelace.

A man named Edison He made the phonograph Out of Aluminum Then later out of wax It cuts a melody And destroys it as it plays It cuts a melody So enjoy it as it plays Do you believe the moon is stealing her luminescence Do you concede our world is reeling through vast expanses Oh yes we might just be a momentary lapse, or happenstance

gravity is so weak and our universe is so large but it keeps our world in an ellipse around our star for it doesn't decay and it won't give in and it is not opposed and it's always within lik god's voice so soft, so soft that i don't hear it speak in my dreams in my thoughts, my thoughts in the quiet that i keep but it doesn't decay and it won't give in for it is not opposed and it's always within like our love so soft, so soft that i don't hear it speak in my dreams in my thoughts, my thoughts in the quiet that i keep but it doesn't decay and it won't give in for it is not opposed and it's always within like our love so soft that you don't feel it live in each breath in each thought each thought in the surface of our skin gravity doesn't decay and it won't give in for it is not opposed and it's always within like our love like our love like our love like our love like our love our love our love
