The sky at night is only so large and any silence never lingers long
and in a world without air one man stands alone
The human adventure is only beginning
May the heat heat we're absorbing from the sun that we are orbiting give strength to us this morning so we grow
And all the things that we ignored love all the things that we were so unsure of things that we cared for spread out below
For before space we explored the sea where we could not stand, we could not breathe but once again we've broken free I know
And we spin but what is turning us, Galileo and Copernicus never felt the afterburners thrust toward home
One man, and the unknown
The sky tonight is full of stars that form a map of all possible paths
The human adventure is only beginning

Ain't no 'larm clock ringin'
Ain't no birds a-singin'
Ain't no horn playin' "Reveille"
Ain't no rooster crowin'
Ain't no whistle blowin'
Ain't no way of knowin'
But trust us
It's time to get up
We won't say "Up and at 'em!"
When you're already so far above and beyond
We'll say "Top of the morning to you!"
It's high time that you scratched and you yawned
Thought you'd like to know the
Day's begun below ya
If we could we'd show ya but we can't
Down here alarms are ringin'
Roosters crowing'
Birds are singin'
You've no way of knowin' but
Trust us
It's time to get up
Trust us
It's time to get up
Wake up!

Your flight leaves at ten
No need to bring a single thing
I've got everything ready
And where we're goin'
Even the stars won't look the same
and this ain't no ordin'ry train
it's a space ship with a name
We're gonna fly out of the sky
On the Blue Osiris
it's the fastest ship in space
But you still have to to take a nap if you want
and we're about to make the jump
and if you look out of your screen
you'll see the earth disappearing
That's the first shock
Here comes the second one
the planet we're going to
the planet that I'm from
instead of one sun we got two
one orange and one blue
and the colors when they mix are so true
it'll change your point of view
We're gonna fly out of the sky
On the Blue Osiris
it's the fastest ship in space
But you still have to to take a nap if you want
and we're about to make the jump
and if you look out of your screen
you'll see the earth disappearing
We're gonna fly out of the sky
On the Blue Osiris
it's the fastest ship in space
But you still have to to take a nap if you want
and we're about to make the jump
and if you look out of your screen
you'll see the earth disappearing

When we were younger we would dream of all the places we could go
Fly plastic spaceships 'round the yard
We'd lie awake at night and stare up at the stars through our windows
They didn't seem far from our homes
Ba-ba-ba-ba we go bouncin, we go bouncin around the moon
And we'll come back to earth real soon
Ba-ba-ba-ba we go bouncin, we go bouncin around the moon
And we'll come back to earth real soon
So all aboard invite the nieghbors, bring the cats and turtles too
Freeze-dried ice cream's in the bag
And all our friends will miss us, so we brought their pictures with us
And we'll be back to earth real soon
Ba-ba-ba-ba we go bouncin, we go bouncin around the moon
And we'll come back to earth real soon
Ba-ba-ba-ba we go bouncin, we go bouncin around the moon
And we'll come back to earth real soon
Some may say that we're already gone...
Ba-ba-ba-ba we go bouncin, we go bouncin around the moon
And we'll come back to earth real soon
Ba-ba-ba-ba we go bouncin, we go bouncin around the moon
And we'll come back to earth real soon

floating through the final frontier
so few from our sphere have experienced this place
some call it a void but there's so much here
like hydrogen plasma and magnetic fields
wake up and smell the space
wake up
wake up and smell the space
astronauts are hot as they come
out there they're the closest beings to the sun
STS-134
wipe off your space dust and put your feet to the floor
wake up and smell the space
wake up and smell the space
wake up and smell the space
wake up and smell the space
wake up and smell the
space

I remember when I first learned
We are not doomed to be
Terrestrial prisoners
I shined with the possibility
I dreamed of satellites
And oh their passengers
They observe us, in circles
At such an altitude
I want to be a super hero
I want a power suit; I want special tools
A secret hideout in low earth orbit
I'll circumnavigate, and I'll search the stars
And the answers will come soon
I marvel at their diligence
Their feats of alchemy, in microgravity
Will uncover the secrets
And bring them back to earth
What I wouldn't give for their celestial perspective
Astronauts are super heroes
In their power suits, with their special tools
Their secret hideout, in low earth orbit
Circumnavigates as they search the stars
And my answer will come soon
I'll touch the surface of the moon

32 ft per second per second
accelerating each earthly projection
the quanitity g is the mother of invention
and aeronautic feats to many to mention like...
buzz aldrin on the moon
montgolfier in his balloon
and the brothers wright
these pioneers of flight
they're engineers they're lovers and they're loons
astronauts to be study your physics
and don't forget to dream of the planets you'll visit like...
